THE MID-OHIO JETS

The Jets advanced to round II of the HFL playoffs with a 40 to 33 victory over cross town division rivals the Central Ohio Spartans. The Jets jumped ahead 20-0 by the end of the first quarter, but Ted Sauder and the Central Ohio Spartan’s offense came alive in the second half putting up 26 points. The Jets defense put on a sack clinic in the final minute as #34 Xavier Littleberry recorded three sacks, back to back to back to shut down the Spartans final offensive possession. The Jets offense was led by John Abner who threw four touchdown passes to four different receivers. The Jets will now take on the Ohio Valley Warriors in Round II of the HFL playoffs this Saturday in Grove City, Ohio. Come out and support your J...E…T…S….JETS JETS JETS!!!!

The Mid Ohio Jets have changed practices to SUNDAYS starting November 29th at Rhodes Park. Please see the information below regarding below in the "Practice Section". Players that are interested in joining the Mid Ohio Jets for the 2010 season are encouraged to attend to work out with the players and to meet the coaching staff.

HFL Championship GAME RECAP

Mid Ohio Jets defeated Steel Valley Hardhats 24-14. John Abner was 13/24 for 233 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 0 interceptions. The defense did a great job of containing the elusive CJ Ladson and forcing him to throw four interceptions. Shawn Bare helped seal the victory with this second interception of the game as he returned it 15 yards for the touchdown to put the nail in the coffin for the Hardhats. This is the third consecutive league championship for the Jets.

Game MVP honors went to Eric Robinson who had 5 receptions for 121 yards, 1 touchdown, and Eric also played on defense snagging two interceptions.
